Day 01 Arrival Yangon ( by morning/ midday flight )

Pick up from the hotel and warmly welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Then visit to the Yangon city center with many colonial style buildings; Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha; Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and makes a useful landmark in down town Yangon; Karaweik Hall, a floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake, then visit around Scott (Bogyoke) market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then visit to the one of the world's most spectacular monument the Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 02 Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyo

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and drive to Bago. Sightseeing includes the Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, over a thousand years old; its spire is even taller than Shwedagon Pagoda. The 55 meter long reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha image is among the country's most revered. On the way through rural landscape of rice fields and small villages. Lunch and dinner are included. Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo.


 

Day 03 Kyaikhtiyo - Yangon

After breakfast, visit Golden Rock, locally called Kyaikhtiyo. It is located on a high mountain in Mon State and southeast from Yangon. Kyaikhtiyo pagoda exists on the highest peak (1100 meter above sea level) of the Paung Laung mountain ranges – 12 km from base camp kimpun. After 4 hours drive from Yangon, you take a 45 minute open truck uphill, then another hour walk up together with the native pilgrims., You will then reach the Pagoda site. In the late evening, drive back to Yangon. Overnight at Yangon.


Day 04 Yangon - Mandalay (Amarapura,Ava) (flight Etd / hr )

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival in Mandalay, transfer to hotel; then sightseeing to the most venerated Mahamuni Buddha Image cost in bronze, gilded with thick gold leaf; Golden-leaf Making Workshop; Kuthodaw Pagoda renowned as “The World’s largest Book” for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures Golden Palace Monastery, a super example of a traditional wooden building. Continue to ancient capital Amarapura. Visit to silk and cotton Weaving Industry, the famous U Bein Bridge,1.2 km long teak bridge spans the Taungthaman Lake. And drive to Inwa, formerly known as AVA, also a former Royal capital of Myanmar located at the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy river and Myitnge river. After crossing the Myitnge river by small boat, taking a horse cart along the bumpy road to visit the ruins of the old royal capital includes the watch tower - the 27 meter tall leaning tower of old royal palace; Mahaaungmyebonzan monastery – the impressive brick and stucco monastery; Bargaya monastery – a splendid teak wood monastery with wood curving. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 05 Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and we would take a short boat ride up river to reach Mingun, located at the other side of the Ayeyarwaddy river and north of Mandalay. The boat ride is always pleasant as one can learn the ways of local life along the river. Sightseeing highlights includes Pathodawgyi – believed to be one of the largest brick base in the world and it would be one of the wonders of the world in case if it was completed; Mingun bell – said to be world's biggest un-cracked and ringing bell and Myatheindan pagoda represents for Buddhist cosmology. Back to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.

 

Day 06 Mandalay - Sagaing - Monywa

Breakfast at hotel. First visit to Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda at Sagaing and the Sagaing hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees and after visit, the journey continues to “Monywa” (4 hrs driving) pass through varied agricultural landscapes and villages. On the way visit, Thanboddhay Pagoda about 20 kilometers out of Monywa. And then visit to Boddhi Tataung Pagoda. Drive to Monywa. Check in hotel and overnight at hotel.


 

Day 07 Monywa - Pakokku - Bagan

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the jetty and cross the Chindwin River by local boat and drive to visit a sandstone cave system in the Phowin Hills, named after a famous “Zawgyi "(alchemist) who once lived here. Visit Shwe Ba Hill. Drive back to Monywa and heading drive to Bagan by passing Pakokku (1 hr driving). Proceed to the north of Pakokku (20km), the remains of Pakhangyi, 19th century town. Drive back to Pakokku and transfer to jetty. Excursion local ferry boat trip to Bagan (not express boat) 2 hrs sailing. Arrive Bagan, transfer to the hotel. Free and leisure. Overnight at hotel.


Day 08 Bagan (Bagan Fullday sightseeing)

Packed breakfast from the hotel. Transfer to the airport for early flight to Bagan. Check in hotel. Bagan, one of Asia's most popular archaeological destinations and one out of two most eminent religious old cities in Southeast Asia. The sightseeing starts with a visit to Nyaung Oo market – a typical local market; followed by visits to most distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon Pagoda – the holiest one believed to be enshrined with Buddha’s tooth and hair; Gubyaukgyi Temple ( Wetkyiinn village) – the 13th century 'cave temple' with fine frescoes of scenes from Jakarta's; Anada Temple – one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style. A visit to the lacquer ware factory followed by a visit to a local village. Before the sunset, we would take a boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River to discover the local life and view the sunset. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 09 Nyaung U - Heho (Visit Pindaya / Kalaw)

Take the morning flight to Heho. Arrive Heho airport and proceed to Pindaya by car 2 hrs. Visit Pindaya Caves with hundreds of Buhhha Statues and local umbrella making cottages and pindaya lake. Lunch at Pindaya and continue to Kalaw. Kalaw is a beautiful hill station surrounded by mountains. Kalaw lies 1300 meters above sea level. Palaung tribes with colourful costumes can be seen at Kalaw market. Driving and viewing the villas set amidst in pine wood. Then leave for Inlay Lake. Overnight at Nyaung Shwe.


Day 10 Pindaya - Inle Visit Inlay

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and visit Inle Lake. Inlay Lake exists 900 meters above sea level and the homeland of the Inthar tribe. Visit the regional market that takes place around the different areas of the Inle Lake if the day coincides with the market day. Phaungdawoo Pagoda – famous for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and its history; Ngaphechaung monastery (formerly also known as jumping cat monastery for trained jumping cats) – more than one and a half century old monastery with its collection of ancient Buddha Images. Other attractions include unique leg-rowing style and fishing method of the Innthar; floating gardens and vegetable plantations; and weaving factory and blacksmith. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 11 Inle - Heho - Kyaing Tong

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport depart for Kyaing Tong (via Tachileik) by schedules flight (1 hour flying). Arrival late afternoon at Kyaing Tong airport and transfer to hotel and check- in. Sight seeing in Kyainge Tong starts with Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, housing Mandalay Style Buddha image. Proceed to Shan lacquer ware. Tourist who are fond of lacquer ware can purchase desirable lacquer ware of high quality. Then visit Standing Buddha image, (the place where Kyainge Tong was founded about one thousand years ago), Hot Spa, Akha centre village and R.C.M church. Visit to the One Tree Hill where a lone, 245 years old Kanyin-byu tree stands. The tree was planted by Alaungmintaya, the founder of Third Myanmar Empire. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Kyaing Tong

Breakfast at the hotel. Fully - day excursion to Lwe tribe village. Drive approx. 2 hrs on the road to Maila, a border town at the Chinese Border. From there it will take a 1/2 hours hike to WanNyunt village, one of the Loi tribe village. The Loi preferring to live in a huge long houses, including at least 5 families. Before visiting the Lois there is an old monastery, a very beautiful one and very different from the other monasteries. One hour from there is another Loi village (Wan Seng). Scenery is beautiful and hiking is not difficult. Return to Kyaing Tong. Overnight at Hotel.


Day 13 Kyaing Tong - Yangon

Breakfast at hotel. Upon flight time permitting, visit to the colorful local Market is the site for gathering of the different clans, each in their colorful costumes: any given morning you would see Ahku , Ahka , Palaung , Enn , or Lahu races. Check out hotel and will be transferred to Kyaing –Tong airport and depart for domestic flight to Yangon by Schedule Flight. Arrive Yangon and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Yangon - Thandwe (by flight)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to thandwe. Transfer to Ngapali Beach (provided by hotel). Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.

Day 15 Ngapali beach

After breakfast at hotel, free for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.

Day 17 Thadwe -Yangon (Depature)

Transfer to Thandwe airport (provided by hotel) for return flight to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, , sightseeing to famous shopping center Bogyoke Market (formerly called Scott Market), where you can see varieties of goods ranging from handicrafts to clothing and local food/ snacks. Continue walk to the Chinatown area, a bustle point (If time permits). Transfer to the airport for the departure flight. Depart Yangon.
