Day 1 Yangon city sightseeing

Pick up from the hotel and warmly welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Then visit to the Yangon city center with many colonial style buildings; Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha; Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and makes a useful landmark in down town Yangon; Karaweik Hall, a floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake, then visit around Scott (Bogyoke) market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then visit to the one of the world's most spectacular monument the Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.


Day 02 Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo 180 km* 4hr drive

Pick up from the airport and drive to Golden Rock, locally called Kyaikhtiyo. It is located on a high mountain in Mon State and southeast from Yangon. Kyaikhtiyo pagoda exists on the highest peak (1100 meter above sea level) of the Paung Laung mountain ranges – 12 km from base camp kimpun. After 4 hours drive from Yangon, you take a 45 minute open truck uphill, then another hour walk up together with the native pilgrims., You will then reach the Pagoda site. In the late evening, dinner is served with fine Burmese food and then an overnight at the hotel.


Day 03 Yangon-Mandalay (Amarapura full day city tour)

After breakfast, back to Yangon. On the way back to Yangon visit Bago. Sightseeing includes the Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, over a thousand years old; its spire is even taller than Shwedagon Pagoda. The 55 meter long reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha image is among the country's most revered. Return to Yangon through rural landscape of rice fields and small villages. Lunch and dinner are included. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 04 Mandalay and Amarpura ( full day city tour)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival in Mandalay, transfer to hotel; then sightseeing to the most venerated Mahamuni Buddha Image cost in bronze, gilded with thick gold leaf; Golden-leaf Making Workshop; Kuthodaw Pagoda renowned as “The World’s largest Book” for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures Golden Palace Monastery, a super example of a traditional wooden building. Continue to ancient capital Amarapura. Visit to silk and cotton Weaving Industry, the famous U Bein Bridge,1.2 km long teak bridge spans the Taungthaman Lake. Drive to Inwa, formerly known as AVA, also a former Royal capital of Myanmar located at the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy river and Myitnge river. After crossing the Myitnge river by small boat, taking a horse cart along the bumpy road to visit the ruins of the old royal capital includes the watch tower - the 27 meter tall leaning tower of old royal palace; Mahaaungmyebonzan monastery – the impressive brick and stucco monastery; Bargaya monastery – a splendid teak wood monastery with wood curving .Back to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay

Day 05 Visit Sagaing and Mingun old city

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Sagaing, a former capital of Shan Kingdom and Myanmar Kingdom but nowadays is renowned as the religious center of Myanmar because of over 400 monasteries spreading throughout the hillocks. After crossing the Inwa bridge (also called Sagaing bridge), one can visit the Sagaing hill by trucks. The highlights include Soonooponyashin Pagoda, Uminthonese – a thirty man-made caves pagoda. Other highlights include silver smith and Kaunghmudaw pagoda – the gigantic stupa represents a paddy heap. Lunch at Sagaing. Late afternoon, we would take a short boat ride up river to reach Mingun, located at the other side of the Ayeyarwaddy river and north of Mandalay. The boat ride is always pleasant as one can learn the ways of local life along the river. Sightseeing highlights includes Pathodawgyi – believed to be one of the largest brick bases in the world and one of the wonders of the world if it is ever completed; Mingun bell – said to be the world's biggest uncracked ringing bell and Myatheindan pagoda represents Buddhist cosmology. Back to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 06 Mandalay-Pyin Oo Lwin-Mandalay

Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Pyin Oo Lwin, 65km north east of Mandalay. It is a famous hill station and summer resort. The road to Pyin Oo Lwin winds up the hill and there are many hairpin bends along the way. At a viewpoint at 21 miles one can have a Birdseye view of Mandalay in the distance below. Visit central market and clock tower. Botanical garden abundant with different kinds of flowers, shrubs, plants, beautiful lawns and huge trees providing shade. A Chinese temple (Joss-house) is worth a visit. The Pwegauk waterfall is a scenic idyll for a picnic or an excursion. Return to Mandalay in the evening. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 07 Mandalay - Monywa ( car)

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Monywa situated by the east bank of the Chindwin River. Taking Pakoku- Myaing and joining to Pathein-Monywa road, it is better to visit Po Win hill an interesting area with the caves containing ancient sculptures, mural paintings dating from 17th and 18th centuries. Proceed to Monywa across Chindwin river. Overnight at Monywa.


Day 08 Monywa-Bagan

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and Check out the hotel then after 13 km we would stop at Thanbodday Pagoda – an unusual Buddhist temple with over 500,000 Buddha images. Visit one thousand Bodhi trees complex where you will see the elegant standing, reclining and lying Buddha statues are being built. An overlooking view from a temple looks nice. And drive to Jetty, take a boat and proceed to Bagan. On the way, you will visit some sightseeing such as the way of life in river village, specialize of pot making and you can take the panoramic view of Ayeryarwady River. And then you will arrive Bagan in evening. Upon arrival you will transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.  

Day 09 Bagan (Bagan Fullday sightseeing)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and drive to Bagan, one of Asia's most popular archaeological destinations and one out of two most pre-eminent religious old cities in South East Asia. The sightseeing starts with a visit to Nyaung Oo market – a typical local market; followed by visits to most distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon Pagoda – the holiest one believed to be enshrined with Buddha tooth and hair ; Gubyaukgyi Temple ( Wetkyiinn village) – the 13th century 'cave temple' with fine frescoes of scenes from Jakatas; Anada Temple – one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style. A visit to the lacquer ware factory followed by a visit to local village. Before the sunset, we would take a boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy river to discover the local life and view the sunset. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 10 Bagan Fullday sightseeing

Early in the morning, the massive Dhamamayangyi temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Visit Sulamani, one of Bagan’s great two-storied Bamar style Temples that has 4 seated Buddha images. Continue to Lemyethna Temple, topped by an Indian-style spire similar to Ananada Temple. Then the three shrines of Payathonzu (if open), which are connected by passages adorned with Mahayanist or Tantric mural paintings. Visit Nandamannya Temple with fine frescoes and an unexpectedly erotic mural. Take a break from temples and wander through the village of Minnanthu to see how the local people live. And visit Abeyadana Temple with frescoes representing Bodhisattvas and the gods of Indian mythology. Continue to Nanpaya Temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha’s residence. See the four Buddha images in Manuha Pagoda and then stop at Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar’s “Rosetta Stone”, bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 11 Bagan - Salay - Mt popa - Bagan

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Salay and visit to Yoke-sone Monestary decorated with wood-carvings depicting scenes for moral lessons. After that continue to lacquer-ware Buddha Image and the ancient monastery. Then drive to Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano which is the abode of Nats (spirits). It is about 783 m height and climb over the 777 steps to reach the top of the mountain where has monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different style. Then come back to Bagan and overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 12 Bagan - Heho flight Etd /hr - Visit Pindaya

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Heho On arrival drive to Pindaya and trekking in Pindaya region for half day. And have a lunch and visit Pindaya cave with hundreds of Buddha Statues and local umbrella making cottages and Pindaya lake. Overnight at Pindaya.


Day 13 Pindaya - Kalaw visit Kalaw

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and drive to Kalaw (about 2 hrs drive) and visit Theindaung Monastery, Aung Chan Tha Phayar, Shweohnmin Phayar and caves. Lunch at local restaurant.After lunch, transfer to trekking point for trek to Myin Ma Hti cave - see tribe people of Dha Nu and Taung Yoeh - visit cave with curved Buddha images. And continue to surrounding the villages Lu Pyin and Taung Gyi Chay. Evening back to Kalaw and dinner and overnight at hotel.


Day 14  Kalaw- Nyaung Shwe (Visit Kalaw Trekking)

After breakfast trekking to the 'Tha Yaw' Palaung tribe village which may take about 2 hours and half hours walk from your hotel. Then trek to Tha Yaw round about 2 hrs trek (including Palaung traditional long house) and visit the hill tribe villages seeing them with colorful traditional costumes. Lunch box will be taking our porter. Then back to hotel, check out hotel and drive to Nyaung Shwe. Overnight at Nyaung Shwe.


Day 15 Nyaung Shwe - Taunggyi Visit Taunggyi

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Taunggyi. Capital of Shan State Taunggyi is a pine clad hill station. The weather is cool all year round and the winter months can be quite cold at night. The Local Market is well known throughout Myanmar. Proceed to Kakku, a unique temple complex of more than 2000 stupas has lied hidden in the Pa-O heartland of Southern Shan State of centuries. Return back to Inle. Overnight at hotel in Inle.


Day 16 Nyaung Shwe - Inle Visit Inlay lake

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and visit Inle lake. Inle Lake exists 900 meters above sea level and the homeland of the Inthar tribe. Visit the regional market which takes place once every fifth day around the different areas of Inle Lake, if the day coincides with the market day. Phaungdawoo Pagoda – famous for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and its history; Ngaphechaung monastery (formerly also known as jumping cat monastery for trained jumping cats) – more than one and a half century old monastery with its collection of ancient Buddha Images. Other attractions include unique leg-rowing style and fishing method of the Innthar; floating gardens and vegetable plantations; and weaving factory and blacksmith. Overnight Inle Lake.

Day 17 Visit Indein

Breakfast at the hotel. Taking the boat down south and into a small twist and turn creek running into the lake, we would reach the Inn-dein village – a small village located at the south western bank of the lake famous for its ruined clusters of pagodas dating back to 16th century. The tranquility, peaceful ambience and ruins overgrown with bushes set you back entries. Overnight at Inle Lake.


Day 18 Inle - Yangon Visit Sankar

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and taking a boat to Sankar, where is situated at the southern end of Inle Lake. Our Cruise slowly through a beautiful rural landscape, as a spectator yes, people on the shore waved to us, kids laughed in glee, and everything was incredibly peaceful. Finally arrive at Sankar, Sankar is really a tiny village with a group of ruined stupas on the outskirts. Enjoyed our walk through the small village, a monastery and temple visit and visited a distillery of rice alcohol – ranging from 60 proof to pure spirits. Then, return back to Inle Lake. And take the late evening morning to Yangon. Overnight at Yangon.  

Day 19 Yangon - Thandwe Visit Ngapali

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for flight a Thandwe. Transfer to Ngapali Beach (provided by hotel). Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.



Day 20 Visit Ngapali

Day 22 Thandwe - Yangon (Yangon city sightseeing/Onward depature)

Transfer to Thandwe airport (provided by hotel) for return flight to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, visit World Peace Pagoda and cave, which were constructed during the time of Prime Minister U Nu, approximately 1952. The style is different, or fairly modern if compared to Shwedagon and others Pagodas. The World Peace Pagoda has a Buddha's relic room. It has a peaceful surrounding, and those interested could enjoy a stroll in the large compound which includes the cave and a fish pond. And take the lunch, after the lunch, free at leisure before your departure time and transfer to the airport for the International Departure.
