Day 01 Yangon city sightseeing

Pick up from the hotel and warmly welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Then visit to the Yangon city center with many colonial style buildings; Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha; Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and makes a useful landmark in down town Yangon; Karaweik Hall, a floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake, then visit around Scott (Bogyoke) market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then visit to the one of the world's most spectacular monument the Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 02 Yangon – Heho flight Etd / hr – Visit Inlay lake

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Heho and 50 min drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to Inle lake. Inle Lake exists 900 meters above sea level and the homeland of the Inthar tribe. Visit the regional market which takes place once every fifth day around the different areas of Inle Lake, if the day coincides with the market day. Phaungdawoo Pagoda – famous for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and its history; Ngaphechaung monastery (formerly also known as jumping cat monastery for trained jumping cats) – more than one and a half century old monastery with its collection of ancient Buddha Images. Other attractions include unique leg-rowing style and fishing method of the Innthar; floating gardens and vegetable plantations; and weaving factory and blacksmith. Overnight Inle Lake.

Day 03 Visit Samkar

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and taking a boat to Sankar, where is situated at the southern end of Inle Lake. Our Cruise slowly through a beautiful rural landscape, as a spectator yes, people on the shore waved to us, kids laughed in glee, and everything was incredibly peaceful. Finally arrive at Sankar, Sankar is really a tiny village with a group of ruined stupas on the outskirts. Enjoyed our walk through the small village, a monastery and temple visit and visited a distillery of rice alcohol – ranging from 60 proof to pure spirits. Then, return back to Inle Lake. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 04 Heho – Mandalay(flight Etd / hr )

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival in Mandalay, transfer to hotel; then sightseeing to the most venerated Mahamuni Buddha Image cost in bronze, gilded with thick gold leaf; Golden-leaf Making Workshop; Kuthodaw Pagoda renowned as “The World’s largest Book” for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures Golden Palace Monastery, a super example of a traditional wooden building. Continue to ancient capital Amarapura. Visit to silk and cotton Weaving Industry, the famous U Bein Bridge,1.2 km long teak bridge spans the Taungthaman Lake. View the sunset from there and return to hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 05 Visit AVA (old city)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and drive to Inwa, formerly known as AVA, also a former Royal capital of Myanmar located at the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy river and Myitnge river. After crossing the Myitnge river by small boat, taking a horse cart along the bumpy road to visit the ruins of the old royal capital includes the watch tower - the 27 meter tall leaning tower of old royal palace; Mahaaungmyebonzan monastery – the impressive brick and stucco monastery; Bargaya monastery – a splendid teak wood monastery with wood curving. Overnight at Mandalay.


Day 06 Mandalay – Bagan (flight Etd/ hr ) Bagan Fullday sightseeing

Packed breakfast from the hotel. Transfer to the airport and early flight to Bagan. Check in hotel. Bagan, one of Asia's most popular archaeological destinations and one out of two most pre-eminent religious old cities in South East Asia. The sightseeing starts with a visit to Nyaung Oo market – a typical local market; followed by visits to most distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon Pagoda – the holiest one believed to be enshrined with Buddha’s tooth and hair; Gubyaukgyi Temple ( Wetkyiinn village) – the 13th century 'cave temple' with fine frescoes of scenes from Jakatas; Anada Temple – one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style. A visit to the lacquer ware factory followed by a visit to a local village. Before sunset, we would take a boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River to discover ocal life and view the sunset. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 07 Bagan – Mt popa – Bagan

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt. Popa - an extinct volcano 65km southeast of Bagan in the plain region of middle Myanmar and one of the national parks in Myanmar with preserved forest. It serves as a small oasis in the hot, dry plain of Myanmar. The popularity of Mt. Popa today lies in the interest of religious and mystical beliefs as an abode of spirits, "Nats". Climb the Taungkalat – believed to be the part of the main volcano blown apart and plugged at the current location. Lunches and dinner are included. Overnight at Popa.

 

Day 08 Bagan Fullday sightseeing

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and drive back to Bagan. On the way back to Bagan we would visit the toddy palm producing local home cottage. Check in hotel at Bagan and visit the massive Dhamamayangyi temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Visit Sulamani, one of Bagan’s great two-storied Bamar style Temples that has 4 seated Buddha images. Continue to Lemyethna Temple, topped by an Indian-style spire similar to Ananada Temple. Then the three shrines of Payathonzu (if open), which are connected by passages adorned with Mahayanist or Tantric mural paintings. Visit Nandamannya Temple with fine frescoes and an unexpectedly erotic mural. Take a break from temples and wander through the village of Minnanthu to see how the local people live. And visit Abeyadana Temple with frescoes representing Bodhisattvas and the gods of Indian mythology. Continue to Nanpaya Temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha’s residence. See the four Buddha images in Manuha Pagoda and then stop at Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar’s “Rosetta Stone”, bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 09 Bagan – Yangon early flight Visit Yangon

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Yangon. And visit World Peace Pagoda and cave, which were constructed during the time of Prime Minister U Nu, approximately 1952. The style is different, or fairly morden if compared to Shwedagon and others Pagodas. The World Peace Pagoda has a Buddha's relic room. It has a peaceful surrounding, and those interested could enjoy a stroll in the large compound which includes the cave and a fish pond. And take the lunch, after the lunch, free at leisure before your departure time and transfer to the airport for the International Departure.
