Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo - Pa an - Mawlamyaing - Yangon - Inle - Pindaya - Kalaw - Inle - Yangon

Day 01 Yangon city sightseeing

Pick up from the hotel and warmly welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Then visit to the Yangon city center with many colonial style buildings; Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha; Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and makes a useful landmark in down town Yangon; Karaweik Hall, a floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake, then visit around Scott (Bogyoke) market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then visit to the one of the world's most spectacular monument the Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 02 Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo 180 km* 4hr drive

Pick up from hotel and drive to Golden Rock, locally called Kyaikhtiyo, is located on a high mountain in Mon State and south east from Yangon. Kyaikhtiyo pagoda exists on the highest peak (1100 meter above sea level) of Paung Laung mountain ranges – 12 km from base camp kimpun. After 4 hours drive from Yangon, take 45 minutes open truck up hill, then an hour walk up together with the native pilgrims, you will get to this Pagoda site. At the late evening, Dinner is served with restaurant and overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03 Kyaikhtiyo – Pa an 3 hr drive

Visit nearby Golden rock to Crow beak cave and Hunter hill. Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel at late afternoon and drive to Pa-an via Thaton. Pa an is capital of Karen state, 270 km by road east of Yangon. Lunch or refreshing break near Kyaikhto. Visit Bayin Nyi lime stone cave with hot spring and Kawgoon Cave decorated with 7th century artwork on the wall. The scenic view of Pha-an city is beautiful with lime stone hills, green farms and Thanlwin river. And Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Pha-an.


Day 04 Pa an – Mawlamyaing

Breakfast at hotel. Pha-an sightseeing includes Kyaukkalat sacred complex, Mt Zwekabin the land mark of Karen state, Shwe Yin Myaw pagoda by the Thanlwin river, city market and bustling jetty, Lunch at Pha-an. Continue to Mawlamying. If time permits, visit via Khayonegu cave that enshrines numerous Buddha images, stalactites and stalagmites. In the evening, leisurely walk along strand road by Thanlwin river. And Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Mawlamying.



Day 05 Mudon – Thanbyuzayat – Setse beach – Mawlamyaing

Breakfast at hotel. First, drive to Mudon ,30 km from Mawlamyaing, visit Win Sein Tawya,the world’s largest reclining Buddha image, 182 m long and constitutes 182 compartments. Continue to Thanbyu Zayat, 35 km from Mudon, visit second world war memorial cemetery. Continue to Set Se beach for lunch or relaxing. Late afternoon visit Kyaikthanlan pagoda on the hill top and view point, over 150 years old Queen Seindon Monastery.And Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Mawlamying.


Day 06 Mawlamyaing – Mottama – Yangon 280 km * 8 hr

After breakfast, return to Yangon via Mottama. Shampoo island is a worth place for sightseeing. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Several photo stops en-route. Take late evening flight to Yangon. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

 


Day 07 Yangon – Heho flight Etd / hr – Visit Pindaya

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the late morning flight to Heho . On arrival drive to Pindaya ,check in hotel and trekking in Pindaya region for half day. And have a lunch and visit Pindaya cave with hundreds of Buddha Statues and local umbrella making cottages and Pindaya lake.Overnight in Pindaya.




Day 08 Visit Kalaw

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and drive to Kalaw and visit Theindaung Monastery, Aung Chan Tha Phayar, Shweohnmin Phayar and caves. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to trekking point A for trek to Myin Ma Hti cave - see tribe people of Dha Nu and Taung Yoeh - visit cave with curved Buddha images. And continue to surrounding the villages Lu Pyin and Taung Gyi Chay. Evening back to Kalaw and dinner and overnight at hotel.



Day 09  Kalaw-Nyaung Shwe (Visit Kalaw Trekking)

After breakfast trekking to the 'Tha Yaw' Palaung tribe village which may take about 2 hours and half hours walk from your hotel. Then trek to Tha Yaw round about 2 hrs trek (including Palaung traditional long house) and visit the hill tribe villages seeing them with colorful traditional costumes. Lunch box will be taking our porter. Then back to hotel, check out hotel and drive to Nyaung Shwe. Overnight at Inle.

Day 10 Visit Inlay lake

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and visit Inle lake. Inle Lake exists 900 meters above sea level and the homeland of the Inthar tribe. Visit the regional market which takes place once every fifth day around the different areas of Inle Lake, if the day coincides with the market day. Phaungdawoo Pagoda – famous for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and its history; Ngaphechaung monastery (formerly also known as jumping cat monastery for trained jumping cats) – more than one and a half century old monastery with its collection of ancient Buddha Images. Other attractions include unique leg-rowing style and fishing method of the Innthar; floating gardens and vegetable plantations; and weaving factory and blacksmith. Overnight Inle Lake. 

Day 11 Visit Indein

Breakfast at the hotel. Taking the boat down south and into a small twist and turn creek running into the lake, we would reach the Inn-dein village – a small village located at the south western bank of the lake famous for its ruined clusters of pagodas dating back to 16th century. The tranquility, peaceful ambience and ruins overgrown with bushes set you back centuries. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 12 Heho – Yangon early flight Visit Yangon

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take the morning flight to Yangon.And visit World Peace Pagoda and cave,which were constructed during the time of Prime Minister U Nu, approximately 1952. The style is different, or fairly morden if compared to Shwedagon and others Pagodas.The World Peace Pagoda has a Buddha's relic room. It has a peaceful surrounding, and those interested could enjoy a stroll in the large compound which includes the cave and a fish pond.And take the lunch, after the lunch, free at leisure before your departure time and transfer to the airport for the International Departure.
